Make It Known

If you’ve got a great product, a great brand will follow–if you’re sending the right message. I’d just surf around my mentor blog..Guy Kawasaki…..and this is really something hat I really need to learn and practice….and I’m actually did already..yeah I know…just one of these few tps..but anyway…don’t worry I’m the last man that you can hope for…..so just read this…:—

When I talk about branding, my assumptions are that you have a great product but not infinite resources. (If, instead you have infinite resources and not a great product, there’s still hope–but you don’t need to read this month’s column any further.) Here are eight steps to successfully branding your product.”-Guy Kawasaki

  1. Seize the high ground. Establish your brand on positive attributes like “making meaning,” “doing good,” “changing the world” and “making people happy”–not on doing in your competition. Think about it: When was the last time you bought a product to hurt a company’s competition? That’s not why consumers spend their dollars. If you want to beat your competition, establish an uplifting brand, but don’t try to establish a brand based on your own desire to beat your competition.
  2. Create one message. It’s hard enough to create and communicate one branding message. However, many companies try to establish more than one because they are afraid of being niched and want the entire market. “Our computer is for Fortune 500 companies. And, oh yes, it’s also for consumers to use at home.” Face it, Volvo can’t equal safety and sexiness; Toyota can’t equal economical and “Lexuriousness.” You can pick one message, see if it works and then try another if it doesn’t. But you can’t try several at once.
  3. Speak English. It doesn’t necessarily have to be English, but speak in non-jargonese. If your positioning statement uses any acro-nyms, the odds are that 1) most people won’t understand your branding, and 2) your branding won’t last very long. For example, “Best JPEG decoder” assumes that people understand what “JPEG” and “decoder” mean. And 10 years from now, who knows if JPEG will matter anymore? Not to be an ageist, but a good test is to ask your parents if they understand what your positioning means. Read the rest of this entry &raquo

On Page SEO Tips

It requires a lot of effort in designing and building a site, but it can be all in vain if you can’t attract enough traffic towards it. You put all your efforts in an attractive design of your website and the next step you do is to put it in front of the online world.

You can’t get success only by uploading your website on the www; the target is to attract well-qualified visitors towards your website, which can’t be done unless you put your site in the eyes of the search engines.

Today, all of the internet users use search engines to find the site relevant to their interest. For example, if a person is interested in finding information about on-going and up-coming cricket events, he/she can easily do so by typing in the keywords in Google, Yahoo or any other search engine. The search engine, as a result, will present a list of most relevant websites on the basis of their keyword. So, in short, to get more traffic towards your website, make it more optimized and put all efforts into keeping your website in the eye of the search engine. This traffic is, without any doubt, the life of a business. No e-business can run without adequate traffic.

How to optimize your website for search engines?

There are two ways of doing it.

Gas Prices Finally Falling

So much of the nation is so dependent on gas that there’s certainly been a collective sigh of relief over the past few weeks as the price at the pump has slowly started slipping. The last I read, the national average price for a gallon of gas was around $2.70. Less than a dozen states had prices hovering at more than $4 a gallon.

A year ago, those figures would’ve seemed astronomical, but today, we’re hopeful that this is a sign of good things. Reports are that worldwide demand for petroleum products is finally slowing down so, as you learned in economics class, it’s a lesson in supply and demand. Finally, in this case, the consumers are benefiting.

Of course, although this is good news, it’s just relative. Today’s gas prices are still more than $1 higher than they were this time last year. But take it for what it’s worth. At best, a sign of a slowly recovering economy. If not that extreme, at least it’s the sign that people have learned to conserve energy. They’re carpooling and telecommuting and driving more fuel-efficient cars so in the end because the demand’s not as high, the price is not as high.

All signs point to prices to keep slowly dropping, at least for the time being. I don’t think we’ll ever get back down to the gas prices we had enjoyed and expected for so long, but there’s no way we’re going to become accustomed to these ridiculous costs.

Let’s hope at least one little part of the economy is starting to recover.

My Tag Heur..Grand Carrera Calibre 36

Finally..i just bought my first Tag Heur…Grand Carrera Calibre 36

Tag Heur

The TAG Heuer Grand Carrera Calibre 36 RS Caliper Concept is quite an impressive concept. Featuring a world first, the Grand Carrera Calibre 36 RS is the only automatic chronograph capable of measuring and displaying 1/10ths of a second. A COSC-certified movement oscillates at a ultra high 36,000 vibrations per hour (vph), allowing the watch to measure 1/10th second intervals.

The Calibre 36 RS is housed in a 43 mm in diameter case which has a black titanium carbide coating. There are “black gold” accents all over the dial of the watch including the indexes, TAG Heuer logo and the hands. The two rotating systems indicating the chronograph minutes at 3 o’clock and the chronograph hours at 6 o’clock systems also use black gold. The watch also features a Linear seconds display a 9 o’clock.

Another innovative design element is the way the watch displays the information. TAG Heuer developed an exclusive Rotating scale that permits precise reading of 1/10th of a second, just watch the video, and you will see what I am talking about.

This concept watch is so exclusive that the design is featured on the dashboard of the limited edition Ken Okuyama designed K.O.7 sportscar, that was on display at the TAG booth this year at Baselworld. After seeing Ken’s new design in person at Basel I was not surprised to read that he is the one who designed the famous Ferrari Enzo.

To add to the sporty automotive inspired design of the watch they added a caliper to the dial, which connects to the hour and minute counters at 3 and 6 o’clock. They even perforated the strap, to add to the sporty design.

The racing inspired “black gold” accented, ultra high precision 36,000 VPH COSC-certified 1/10th second chronograph, is by far one of the best looking TAG Heuer watches I’ve seen. Read the rest of this entry &raquo

Theroblem that really irritaing me right ow is a gastrci and heartburn problem….

What is heartburn?

Heartburn, also known as acid indigestion, is a common condition that affects millions of people. It can last for a few minutes or a few hours, and is described as a burning or painful feeling in the chest. It often strikes after a meal or at night when lying down.

What triggers heartburn?

At times, gastric acids flow up from your stomach into your esophagus through a valve called the lower esophageal sphincter. This back wash of acid is known as acid reflux. When this occurs, it irritates the sensitive tissue that lines your esophagus. This is what causes the pain and burning in your chest, the bitter taste in your mouth and other heartburn symptoms. Talk to your healthcare professional about all of your symptoms because heartburn symptoms are not always the same.

Taking Gaviscon can help stop acid breakthrough fast. Gaviscon neutralizes stomach acid and forms a barrier to prevent heartburn.

Treatment, sometimes making simple lifestyle changes is enough to reduce the occurrence of heartburn:

  • Eat small, regular meals, and eat slowly.
  • Try to stay away from spicy or acidic foods, or large fatty meals.
  • Also avoid coffee, tea, milk and carbonated drinks with or without caffeine.
  • Limit alcohol consumption.
  • Pay attention to the reaction certain foods cause.
  • Try not to lie down, stoop or strain to lift objects following meals.
  • To prevent heartburn at night, raise the head of your bed six inches.
  • When heartburn occurs, drink water to dilute and remove acid from the lower esophagus.
  • Quit smoking.
  • If you are overweight, talk to your physician about starting a diet and exercise program.
  • Don’t wear tight clothing or belts.
  • Avoid bending over if it causes heartburn.
